Signature Development, LLC
Signature Development, LLC was formed in 2002 to focus on land development for retail projects. Its mission is to develop and own shopping centers that maximize the potential of the land and enhance the communities within which they are located. The company has concentrated its efforts in the Carolinas and has pursued projects independently and through joint ventures with others.
Prior to launching Signature Development, its Principal, Wade H. Robinson, spent 13 years with Crosland, Inc. As Senior Vice President of Crosland Retail he was jointly responsible for retail development in NC, SC and VA. He has been involved in approximately 2.8 million square feet of retail development including upscale projects such as Cureton Town Center, Sharon Corners and StoneCrest at Piper Glen. He was the lead development executive on Birkdale Village, a $100 million mixed-use project in Huntersville, NC.
